　　An old man dies. He leaves his son a lot of money. But the son is a foolish young man, and he quickly spends all the money. Of course, when that happens, all his friends leave him. When he is poor and alone, he goes to see a kind, clever old man. The old man often helps people.

　　“I have no money and I have no friends,” says the young man, “What sill happen to me?”

　　“Don’t worry, young man,” answers the old man, “everything will soon be all right. Wait and you will soon feel much happier.”

　　The young man is very glad. “Am I going to get rich again then?” he asked.

　　“No,” says the old man, “You will soon get used to being poor and having no friends.”
