托福独立写作首段模式有很多，但是不管形式怎么变化，第一段主要的目的就是要向读者明确本文的总观点是什么；而一般来说，总观点就是自己对作文题目的一个正面直接回答。

比如： it is better for children to choose a job similar to their parents. A or D

对于这个题目，考官希望从你的第一段中看到你对此题目的态度是什么，也就是你的观点。

简单地说，我们可以直接说 I aGREe with the statement. 或者，稍微加点模式， personally , I commit to the notion that choosing a job similar to our parents is more beneficial. 再或者更详细点， personally, I commit to the notion that choosing a job similar to our parents is more beneficial in terms of our career development and family bond.

上述内容是首段必须要有的。至于其他因素，就够成了开头段的形式多样了。

最经典的有两种写法： 背景式和让步式

今天讲的是让步式写法。所谓让步式，就是由反方的观点开始（所谓的反方，就是我们假设的站在自己对立面的一方），然后对反方的观点做一个扩展，可以是解释，也可以是举例。接下来马上开始转折，指出对方观点的不足或者忽略的地方。最后再明确自己的观点。

此类开头模式 比较适合于 自己的的观点是不同意，也就是说要反对题目说法的作文里，其中，最适合的题目类型是 “绝对词” 的题目，因为，当一个题目中出现绝对词汇的时候，我们很难论证它的绝对性，相反，我们要反驳它则显得容易很多，因为我们只要指出它的不足，或者举出反例，或者举出能够达到相同效果的例子就可以了。

具体实例操作：

Parents are the best teachers

题目中有best 这个绝对词，所以，反对好写。

首先引出反方的观点，

Some may argue that among numerous teachers in our lives parents are the best ones

然后加理由：

Some may argue that among numerous teachers in our lives parents are the best ones for the reason that parents know their children’ weaknesses and strengths most, and always can work out the most appropriate suggestions.

转折：

However, they fail to realize that parents also need to work, and have no time to teach and communicate with their children.

表明自己的观点

Therefore, I cannot stand with this common thought.  

加自己的理由：

Perhaps due to the insufficient knowledge, unprofessional method and other fACTors, hardly can we admit that parents are the best teachers.
