There is no denying the fACT that it has become a prevailing trend for parents to send the children to art training classes of all kinds. To this phenomenon,people’s attitudes differ sharply.
Some hold the positive view. They claim that attending art classes can help nurture children’s interest and tap their potentials in such art as music, painting and dancing. This, they believe, will contribute to a child’s all-sided development. Besides, they argue that mastering skills of one art or two can add to a child’s edge of competition in the modern world.
Others, however, hold the opposite view. They point out that not all children are interested or
talented in art, or a child may not be fond of all forms of art. Forcing them to go to art classes may only restrict their freedom and affect their healthy growth.
Personally, I believe that both sides have something right, so we should not go to extremes. On the one hand, it must be admitted that going to art classes is an effective means to find out and give full play to children’s talent in art and it is conducive to their sound development. On the other hand, it is not advisable for parents to deprive their children of the right to choose to learn what they truly like.Remember, the fittest is the best.
一、结构：简述现象（针对点）；阐述两种对立观点；我的观点。
二、句型用法：
1、some hold the positive view....others hold the opposite view...同样结构在 2012 年 6 月出现
2、it 作形式主语的被动表达：it must be admitted that.....
3、重点关注： is not advisable for parents to deprive their children of the right to choose to learn
what they truly like.
1）advisable：常用词。明智的，可取的。不是“可建议的、可规劝的”之义。
2）deprive sb of sth：剥夺 sb 的 sth。同义词可用 not allow,prevent from 等等，显然略矬。
3）learn what they truly like：
A. wh-引导的宾语从句；
B. 第二，副词+动词（truly like）；
C. 这里的 like 显然比下面提到的 be fond of 更好，因为 like 更为简洁.。总结一下可
以发现，在使用同义词汇时，若在句子的重要位置（如主句的谓语），使用高级词
汇；若在句子的次要位置（如从句的谓语），不是说一定不能用高级词汇，而是要
以自然、简洁为第一考量标准，底线（bottom line）是：从句的谓语不能比主句
的谓语更高级、更复杂，否则本末倒置，不合英语用语习惯。
4、熟语、谚语的使用：the fittest is the best.
三、短语与词组的用法
1、add to a child’s edge of competition：
1）add to：可用 promote,improve 等替换，但 add to 更简洁更准确
2）edge：等同于 advantage；合理运用单词的生义，另辟蹊径，表现语言的驾驭能力
2、be fond of：等同于 be keen on,be interested in，可替换，避免 like,love,enjoy 等低级词汇
3、go to extremes：走向极端。在现象说明与对比类的文章中常用。
4、同义替换：an effective means.——The word "means"(单复数同形）outweigh "method",not
to mention "way".

In recent years, the ignorance of Chinese has been prevailing among students.Some refuse to go to Chinese classes, and some read few Chinese classics.In contrast, more and more students attach more importance to foreign language study.
There are three premier fACTors that can account for such phenomenon.First and foremost, the
globalization GREatly stimulates the students’ craze for learning English, which in turn affect students’ passion for studying Chinese.Moreover, fewer and fewer universities motivate students to study Chinese.Last but not least, the increasing emphasis on such “prACTical projects” as foreign language closely related to hunting jobs also cut into students’ time and energy. Therefore, students’ weakness in Chinese would undoubtedly not only lead to their ignorance of Chinese culture but also hinder the study of other projects.
In my view, effective measures are called for to solve the problem.First, it should be made clear to the whole society that Chinese is one indispensable part of our culture and race.Second, schools should attach more importance to the teaching of Chinese.Third, students should enhance their awareness of the importance of mastering their mother tongue.
一、这篇文章我不做分析，只是作了一些标记。我想你需要自己分析一下它的牛叉之处。我就谈一下我的体会吧，总的来说，看完之后有种"Oppa, Gangnam Style"的感觉。
1、这篇文章最接近佳作标准，当然是我的标准，两个方面镇得我哑口无言：第一，条理非常晰，一目了然；第二，高级词汇、短语一打一个准，很精彩，同样也很准确；第三，基本没有一个句子是在打酱油的，都是给分点！
2、当然，它也是有美中不足之处的。第一，文中出现了两个 attach the importance to 的用法，重复使用这么“亮”的短语，给人江郎才尽的感觉，幸好本文亮点实在太多，重复使用不致于很明显；第二，最后一段三个句子很水地连续用了三个 should，难道范文作者也有写作时间的限制？——针对以上两个问题，你是否可以改写？
3、瑕不掩瑜。
