【范文一】
Recent decades have seen the rapid development of information technology.As a result,many electric
inventions,including E-book,have found their way into our everyday life and have gained increasing
popularity among common people.
It’s no wonder that some people hold the idea that E-book will replace traditional books sooner or later
because E-book have various advantages over the traditional ones.To start with,all the E-book can be
downloaded from the Internet directly,most of which are free of charge ,while the traditional books in
bookstores are much more expensive .What’s more,E-book can be stored more easily in our
computers and are more convinient for people to carry around.Last but not the least,reading E-book
has become a fashion in our life,which is particularly appealing to our young people.
As far as I am concerned,nowadays traditional books are still the leading means of reading.
However,with further development of information technology and the popularity of computer and
Internet,E-books will surely take the place of traditional books in the near future.

Mental health is becoming an increasingly troublesome issue for undergraduates. We can easily get all
kinds of information about college students’ pressure or emotional problems on the Internet. Solving
the problem needs collaborative efforts between universities and students themselves.
On the one hand, authorities in universities play a critical role in the situation. To begin with,
schools, such as colleges or universities, can provide chances for the students to ease their
tension.What’s more, some are physically strong, but mentally weak in terms of coping with difficult
situations. Teachers may have a chance to find them in advance. Besides, specialists in this field are to
be required to make full preparation for cases in time.
On the other hand, students should try to face the reality and figure out the causes of depression so
that they can better understand it. They should also learn how to identify unhealthy behaviors or
thoughts and make changes accordingly.

二、句型用法：
1、动名词做主语：(Solving the problem) needs collaborative efforts ....
2、插入语：To begin with, schools, such as colleges or universities, can provide......
3、be to do 结构：这里表示“应该”，另有“必须”、“将要”、“命中注定”之义。
三、短语与词组的用法
1、同义替换，尽量避免过多的低级词汇：
issue 比 problem 更正式，本例使用 issue 也是为了避免与本段第三行的 problem 重复。
2、副词+动词：
better understand it=understand it better，但前面的表达更自然，读起来比较简洁。
【范文二】
There is no doubt that mental health is of GREat importance to college students. Nowadays, many
students in college suffer from mental illness, which severely affects their life and study.
In view of the seriousness of the situation, effective measures must be taken before things get worse.
Due attention has to be paid by colleges to students’ mental health. First, lectures on psychological
health should be frequently given to students to prevent problems from happening.Secondly,
psychological clinics should be set up to provide troubled students with timely help.
As college students, we should keep the channel of communication open among ourselves and
between us and our teachers and parents. Besides, in case of mental illness, we should not hesitate to
go to psychological counselors for help. Only with these measures taken can we expect sound growth
of college students.

1、There be 结构：There is no doubt that....用于全文开头有点不自然。
2、be of +名词：be of GREat importance=important，更正式
3、被动结构：Due attention has to be paid.....将 pay 的宾语 attention 提前，强调 attention.
4、倒装结构：Only with these measures taken can we expect sound growth of college students.

1、常用短语：
1）provide sb. with sth. provide sth to sb
2）prevent...from...
附一：对比两篇范文
个人认为，结构清晰是应试佳作的最重要特点，这一点上，范文一显然优于范文二。在句子上，
两篇范均有美中不足之处，范文一句型虽主被动的变化，但句子不够漂亮，内容不充实，而范
文二，同样有倒装和被动结构变化，但 should 用得太多，比较单一。
附二：其它范文佳句
1. the authorties concerned should enhance the awareness that mental fitness is very important to
college students.—— 后 置 定 语 concerned ； enhance the awareness ； important 可 改 为
significant,salient,vital.
2. Students should also take an ACTive part in helping themselves.
