IP题在SAT语法中属于比较特殊的一种题型，因为它不仅仅考察学生对于语法句法的掌握程度，也需要学生结合文章，对段落篇章架构以及句与句之间的联系去进行理解分析。

纵观历年SAT语法IP题，主要考察的题型包括以下五种

括号内是该年月IP题涉及语法的题目数量。除去06年10月和10年1月外，其他年份对于语法的考察还是比较多的。

而在这些考题中，最常涉及到的语法知识点包括以下几个

2. 代词

3. 句子结构

首先，我们来看看时态

(1005) (1) When people describe me as "determined" or "tenacious," I know they really mean that I am a truly stubborn person. (2) I first recognize that I am a very stubborn person when I was in grade school and wanted to be able to juggle like my big brother. 其次我们来看看对于代词的考察

该题正确选项为B，应该把they改成具体的名词proponents. 因为第九句中的they指代非常不明确。根据句意我们可以得出结论，they应该是指代的支持者们proponents, 但是第九句中并没有出现proponents一词，该词只在第七句中出现过，第八句中有出现consumers一词， 因此第九句中的they很容易出现指代不明的情况。

IP题当中，一旦所考察的句子中包含代词，那么一定要去找代词所指代的名词，看看是否有指代或者指代是否清晰，这是IP题的一个高频语法考点。

最后我们来看看对于句子结构的考察

(0901) (1) Most of my classmates have no idea what they want to do when they graduate. (2) They are similar to me. (3) Many different things are interesting to them. (4) My classmates are not sure how to decide which one is most important. (5) Yet, how any of these interests can turn into a career is not known.

B选项是一个不完整的句子，没有主语

C选项but后面缺少be动词"are"

D选项代词跳跃，不是I am not sure， 而是我的同学们are not sure.

E 选项分号后面并不是个完整的句子

因此答案选择A。

这种题型其实非常类似于IS题，我们需要对句子一个个进行分析，判断它的语法结构是否完整。
