　　第8讲　言简意赅的非谓语动词(2)——不定式

　　动词不定式是构成长句的一个重要因素。不定式由自己的宾语、状语和补足语，组成不定式短语。在分析句子时要把不定式短语看作一个整体。不定式在句中可作主语、宾语、表语、定语、状语和补足语。

　　一、不定式作主语

　　(1)It is everybody’s duty to observe them to keep our society in order.

　　遵守它们(交通规则)以保持社会秩序是每个人的责任。(2015·江苏)

　　(2)It takes four to six weeks to finish the report.

　　要完成这个报告会花费我四到六周的时间。(2015·广东)

　　(3)It is a GREat honour for me to tell you some information relevant to the local life.

　　能告诉你关于当地生活的一些相关信息是我的荣幸。(2014·天津)

　　(4)We can see that it’s not uncommon for one language to borrow words from other languages.

　　我们可以看到一种语言借用其他语言的词汇的现象很普遍。(2014·江苏)

　　(5)It’s not difficult for them to understand these words in Chinese contexts.

　　二、不定式作宾语

　　(1)I learned from your post that you want to improve your Mandarin.

　　三、不定式作表语

　　(1)The important thing is to learn to control your temper.

　　四、不定式作定语

　　(1)Our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials.

　　(3)Success consists in the ability to continue efforts through failures.

　　五、不定式作状语

　　(1)In order to earn some extra money and reduce my family’s burden，I’d like to go to a foreign capital company to find a part­time job.

　　为了挣些外快减少家庭负担，我想去外资企业找一份兼职工作。(2016·全国Ⅰ)

　　(2)We should make full use of time to study.

　　我们应该充分利用时间来学习。(2015·广东)

　　(3)We should take pains to improve ourselves through learning and get prepared for the future.

　　我们应该努力通过学习提高自我，为未来做好准备。(2015·福建)

　　(4)A man immediately rushed to the girl to give her first aid and I joined in without hesitation.

　　一个人迅速跑过去给那个女孩急救，我毫不犹豫地参与了。(2014·湖北)

　　(5)To make our life easier and the environment more beautiful，I have designed a pair of magic shoes.

　　为了使我们的生活更轻松环境更美好，我设计了一双有魔力的鞋。(2014·湖南)

　　六、不定式作补足语

　　(1)She patiently explained all the rules to the students and required everyone to follow them.

　　她耐心地向学生解释所有的规则，而且要求他们每个人要遵守。(2015·广东)

　　(2)I’d like to invite you to join us for a visit to the nearby nursing home next SATurday for the Double Ninth Festival.

　　(3)In my opinion，those who have received her donation will be encouraged to study even harder and try their best to achieve success.
